AI Networking Startups Race to Replace Nvidia's NVLink

As Nvidia expands its NVLink Fusion technology, rival networking vendors are racing to develop alternative interconnects. At the AI Infra Summit, Delos Data and Cornelis Networks announced their entry into the scale-up networking competition. These new solutions aim to replicate Nvidia's ability to make multiple GPUs operate as a single AI accelerator. Cornelis introduced the Active Compute Fabric (ACF) to establish a standard for scalable networking, while Delos Data unveiled new network reference designs to enhance data movement.
