Analysis of 997 Chrome Extensions That Changed Their Titles
An analysis of the impact of title changes on Chrome extensions' rankings. Results from 997 extensions examined.
To understand Chrome extension growth, observing other developers' actions is crucial. Out of approximately 25,000 extensions, 997 changed their titles, and the impact on rankings was analyzed. Among those, 54% of title changers saw at least one keyword move 3+ positions within 14 days, indicating that title changes significantly affect rankings.
