The open model developed by Loka and Arcee AI enhances scientific inquiry through tool use and logical reasoning.
Developed by Loka in collaboration with Arcee AI, the open model has been trained to investigate scientific questions using tools, reason with incomplete evidence, and return verifiable results. Following 21 controlled experiments, the model demonstrated improved performance in seeking evidence across biomedical tools and inferring Gene Ontology annotations from protein evidence.
