Testing Real-Time Verification of LLM Cache Hits: A Weak Yes
Results of an empirical study on real-time verification of LLM cache hits.
An empirical study investigated whether real-time verification improves LLM cache hits in a single-tier semantic cache. Results indicate that while an oracle verifier shows significant potential, an off-the-shelf verifier offers limited benefits. The study also demonstrates robustness against label noise and cold starts, presenting a viable method for real-world applications.
